1. Bar Tab

Did you know that in Virgin there are no traditional Drink Packages? 

Instead, we have the Bar Tab, a credit
pre-paid (up to 24 hours before the cruise departure maximum) for which we will even give you more gift money to spend on alcoholic or specialty drinks.

Also, unlike drink packages on other companies, it is not necessary for all passengers of the same reservation to buy Bar Tab, you can simply share it and invite whoever you want.

  • If you buy $200 we give you $25 gift

  • If you buy $300 we give you $50 gift

  • If you buy $500 we give you $100 gift

  • If you buy $750 we give you $150 gift

  • If you buy $1,000 we give you $250 gift

2. Virgin Voyages App

Without a doubt, the Virgin Voyages App will be your greatest ally to enjoy life on board


As soon as you have your cruise reservation made, you will receive an email with your reservation number. 

The first thing you will have to do is download the App and enter with that number and your data, as you provided during the reservation process.

Once inside the App, on the home page, you will have to complete the 7 steps of Check in. Don’t worry!, it will take you less than 1 minute.


Through the App you will be able to see the schedule of events on board, book restaurants and excursions, request room service and more.


Also, it is not necessary for all passengers of the same reservation to download the App, since with one device everything can be done - although we always recommend that ALL passengers download it.

3. The Band

The iconic Virgin bracelet, with which you will do everything on board

The boarding day has arrived! Once you are at the boarding terminal, you will need to go to the counters to show your documentation (remember that if you have checked in through the App, the process will be much faster).

When they have checked that everything is correct, they will give you The Band, that is, the Virgin bracelet with which you will do everything on board: you will open the door of your cabin, you will use it to board and disembark, and you will also use it as a payment method on board.

IMPORTANT: keep in mind that if you have booked with any promotion for which you have money to spend on board included, you will NOT be able to use that money to pre-book excursions through the App, since that amount is associated with the bracelet, which you will receive when you are on board.

4. Restaurant reservations

All specialty restaurants
included!

As you may know, in Virgin Voyages all restaurants are included, even the specialty ones!
  • Pink Agave - Mexican. Available for dinner
  • Gunabe - Korean. Available for dinner
  • The Test Kitchen - avant-garde. Available for dinner
  • Extra virgin - Italian. Available for dinner
  • The Wake - meat and seafood. Available for dinner and brunch
  • Razzle Dazzle - American. Available for dinner and brunch
To attend these restaurants, you will need to reserve in advance through the App. The reservation period opens about 45 days before the boarding date. You will be able to choose the day and time slot.

In case you have not been able to do it in advance, keep in mind that once on board, new spots will open up in these restaurants. We recommend that you make the reservation as soon as you board. Ultimately, you can go directly to the restaurant on the day and wait for them to seat you, but you will likely have to wait in a small line.

5. Cabins

Modern and technological, it will be hard to leave them


Whether you have booked an interior cabin, an exterior one, a balcony or even a suite, your cabin will always have a tablet from which you can control:

  • Cabin lights
  • Play music
  • Television
  • Open and close curtains
  • Request room service and much more.

If you book a cabin with a balcony or higher, you will have the iconic Virgin red hammock, from which you can enjoy incredible views.

All cabins come with a life jacket, hairdryer, small refrigerator, gel, shampoo and conditioner.


All cabins have American plugs, 1 European plug and several USB plugs. We recommend that you include a power strip in your suitcase, to be able to plug in several devices at once.


Also, did you know that you can request to have your bed converted into a sofa? You can't miss it!

6. Party nights and entertainment

Parties and entertainment known all over the world

When you embark, starting at 6 in the afternoon, go to the deck for the Sailaway party (champagne included!)
That same night, after dinner, go to the cabin and put on your funkiest pajamas, your sexiest pajamas or the pajamas you feel like and enjoy the most incredible Pijama Party!
And be attentive, because the most voted pajamas will win a prize!

Halfway through your cruise, the MOST ICONIC night awaits you: the Scarlet Night.
A night full of events and surprises, where you will have to wear something red and end up at a super pool party. Everyone talks about it!

Also, every night you can enjoy great performances and shows at The Mannor (the nightclub) or at The Red Room (the configurable theater of Virgin).
But that's not all. You have private karaoke rooms, to feel like a rock star, The Social Club, for board games, puzzles, trivia with the crew and more, a room with arcade machines with all the games included and much more.
