Accessible cabins: more space, more comfort
Totally accessible cabins
For sailors who require the regular use of a wheelchair, scooter, or another similar mobility assistance device:
Entrance doors of at least 86,5 cm (34")
Step-free access to the bathroom, full turning space of at least 152,5 cm (60") in the room and the bathroom
Accessible routes throughout the room
Bathroom with shower adapted for wheelchair, support bars and folding shower seat.
Partially accessible cabins
These cabins are designed for sailors with reduced mobility who don't require the regular use of a wheelchair, scooter, or other similar assistive devices.
They are ideal for sailors who use assistive devices such as a cane or a walker and would benefit from certain accessible features, such as support bars to maintain balance.
We have accessible cabins on all our ships. We recommend booking well in advance to maximize your chances of securing an accessible cabin with the amenities you need.
To ensure that each sailor receives the most appropriate accommodation, it is necessary to confirm the need for an accessible cabin by completing the Accessibility and Medical Attention Request Form. This form will also be sent once the reservation has been confirmed and Virgin Voyages has been notified of the passenger's accessibility requirements.
In the event that a sailor books an accessible cabin without needing it, they may be reassigned to a standard cabin at any time to ensure that these rooms are available for those who truly need them.
